In the morning we had lots of different races running, skipping, hopping, egg and spoon and speed walking. In the afternoon we played GAA, had an orienteering challenge and a jumping obstacle course. To finish off our fun filled day an ice-cream van arrived in the yard as a surprise and gave everyone a 99! Even the teachers:)  What a great way to finish the day!!

We gathered egg cartons, toilet rolls, Easter egg boxs and plastic bottles to name a few. Firstly we designed and drew plans of our robots. Then we got busy constructing them. We had great fun making them!

We found many spring flowers including Tulips, Crocuses, Daffodils and Hyacinths. We used our senses to see, hear and touch signs of spring around us.

We loved having Ms Shields in our class. We really enjoyed the skittles experiment she did with us on her last day. The hot water dissolved the sugar on the skittles shell and created a rainbow effect!
