We had a very busy Spring term celebrating lots of different holidays. We took time to make some beautiful Mother's Day art. We also celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge. We learned how to do some Irish dancing with 'Shoe the Donkey', some poems and songs for our Green day show with 'Oisín agus Bó' and 'An Bogha Baistaí'. We had a Gaeilge treasure hunt and made some lovely Irish art to decorate our school for St Patrick's day. We dressed up all in green to celebrate and had a lovely ceilí together. We were even lucky enough to have some Irish musicians visit us and play some traditional music for us! We had a great time with lots of ceoil agus craic. To celebrate Easter, we made some easter bunnies and chicks to decorate our homes for the Easter Bunny, had an easter egg treasure hunt and even had a visit from the Easter Bunny too! We were such good girls and boys that we got some yummy chocolate eggs. We had a great day!

We had a magical December getting prepared for Christmas and all the celebrations. We spent time learning songs and practicing for our first school show. We sang 'Bualadh Bus', 'Nearly Christmas' and 'Jingle Bells.' It was so much fun putting on such a fantastic show for all of our adults to see! We had Pippin Peppermint come to visit for the month to make sure we were all being very kind before Santa's big visit on Christmas Eve.  We were also very busy making lots of lovely Christmas art to  decorate our school as we had a very special visitor all the way from the North Pole who kindly gifted us some Chocolates for being such kind boys and girls.

​This month we really enjoyed Wellbeing Week, Science Week and starting our GAA lessons with Coach Aisling from O'Toole's. For Wellbeing Week. we practiced yoga or meditation each day, along with getting to try Basketball with Casey who is a parent from Room 10 and Stacey. We had lots of fun in Science with our Rainbow experiments to celebrate Science Week.  We learned all about diffusion with out 'Walking Rainbow' experiments and our 'Grow a Rainbow' experiment using yummy Skittles sweets.

October was a very busy month in Room 15. We had Maths week and explored how to make patterns, and had fun forming the numbers 1-3! We also made some 'Shapenstein' monsters that we created using triangles, circles, squares and rectangles. We  We enjoyed painting some autumn landscapes and also had some cute pumpkin creations too! We celebrated Halloween and had lots of fun getting all dressed up for our Witches Walk together.
