St. Patrick's Day
For St. Patrick's Day we were very lucky to have an assembly in the hall where we got to learn about some Traditional Irish instruments and see some very talented musicians play them for us. We also got to perform an Irish song and listen to all the other boys and girls in the school perform theirs too!
We also made some rainbows and stuck them on our classroom windows to try brighten up the weather. It didn't really work but at least we felt lucky!!!

World Book Day
Today, we recreated book covers and we really surprised by just how artistic we are. See our amazing book covers here. We also did a teacher swap with Ms O'Neill who brought her favourite book into us and read it to the class.
Pancake Tuesday
We enjoyed lots of Pancake Tuesday themes activities today in Room 2. We wrote out our very first shopping list on Monday so that Ms Gilligan knew what to buy for Pancake Tuesday. Little did we know, Ms Gilligan was really planning on surprising us with pancakes!
