In the month of September, while getting used to the new words like "pods", "bubble", "sanitise" we have also been learning a lot about Pablo Picasso. See below some of the creative work displayed outside our classroom for everybody to see. We used different types of coloured paper and card to layer and mix shapes to create self portraits just like Picasso. I think we definitely have some up and coming artists in Room 12!
Welcome Back Room 12!
A big welcome back to all the children and families in Room 12, we are so excited to be back in school again and getting back into our school routine. At the end of our first week having settled back in, we decided to try our hand at some portraits. We were calling these 'Pod Portraits' and each person had to draw somebody else in their pod groups. It was great fun for the children especially when the portraits were given accessories and styled up to look just like their friends!

Active work this week!
Well done to MJ who has been busy keeping fit and healthy this week. He has been building up lots of Km's by "walking, cycling and running to New York" for a very special cause called Eric's Heros. It is great to know you are participating in lovely acts of kindness like this. We are very proud of you. Ted will be delighted to see you are still keeping up your football skills and hopefully scoring some goals !!!
Well done to Senan, who is also participating in Eric's Heros. He has already completed 18km's for this cause. That is amazing Senan, a massive well done to you. Another boy who is helping those in need. Well done Senan.
A big Hi from Adam, all the way from Poland. Adam has been sending his teacher all is work every week even though he is not even in the country, so a big well done to him and we hope he get's back home soon.
