Unfortunately our St.Patricks Day celebrations were a little different this year, due to Covid 19 Virus we kept things to a minimum. We were privileged to get a visit from some very talented Traditional Music players, including Ms.McDermott and her son! We got to listen to trational irish music on the harp, fiddle, concertina, bodhrán, whistle and the bagpipes. It was great fun. We clapped along to the music and even got to see some of the girls do some Irish Dancing.
Our school is participating in the Discovery Primary Science Program again this year. So we decided it was a good idea to explore and observe the nature around us. All the first class children took a visit to Bull Island .The island is a scientific area of conservation and also a state nature reserve. The children were greeted by Pat who gave us a very informative introduction to the wildlife on Bull Island. We got to explore the area and look out for wildlife outside.
