Irish Folklore

This month we have been learning a lot about Irish Folklore. We spent some time looking at Na Fianna which was a group of mighty Irish warriors in who feature a lot in our Irish mythology. We spent some time looking at the stories of Tír na n-Óg, Fionn Mac Cumhaill and The Giant's Causeway. For art this week we designed and made what we thought a mighty warrier in Na Fianna might use as a shield. You can see the different shapes, colours and patterns that were used in our projects.
