The children from second class came to visit us today. They paired up with the children in our class and played different activities together. It was lovely to play with other children and make different friends around the school .This week the children learned what is was to be a good friend and they practised little social conversations with each other. They enjoyed mixing with others and learning new things about their friends.The children had great fun experimenting with magnets this week. They worked in pairs finding objects that were magnetic.The children were unrecognisable today with their amazing Halloween costumes. They enjoyed some games & fun in the hall, thanks to the parents association. They loved going on their with walk around Ayrfield. They also did an amazing job at performing their Halloween song " 5 Batty Bats" for the whole school.A huge welcome to the fabulous children who joined us in Junior Infants today. They were so brave saying goodbye to their parents and they had lots of fun making new friends. They had a great day playing with new activities , singing and dancing. The children loved yard time and enjoyed playing with all their new classmates.The children have settled so well into their full day. They are working so hard and are enjoying all the various activities. PE seems to be a favourite subject so far !
