As a special Christmas treat, we decorated cookies and made hot chocolate! It was yummy! We then had great fun dancing along to Christmas songs!
In November, we learned all about houses. For our homework, we researched different types of houses and completed the following masterpieces:
We learnt all about primary and secondary colours. The primary colours are red, yellow and blue. When we mix these colours together we make secondary colours, such as purple, green and orange.
We were learning all about the weather in geography and science. We created our own weather forecasts for Ireland and presented our predictions for the week ahead to the class!
In maths we have been busy learning about 2-D shapes and tens and units.
We used tangram shapes to recreate shape pictures.
When learning about tens and units, we counted match sticks and put them into bundles of ten.
Our class had the best overall attendance in September. As a result, Ted has come to stay in our class for the next month. We can't wait to show Ted all the fun stuff we get up to in room 11. Our class are looking forward to having a teddy bears picnic with Ted soon to celebrate the achievement. Well done everyone!
