We've been working hard on our kicking and passing skills with Tony in GAA this month. We enjoyed lots of different activities based on the theme of "The Cafe" this month. We set up a coffee shop and took turns being the chef, the waiter and the customer. We made cakes, sandwiches and other treats from play dough. We also practised our cutting skills and made patterns with different food and drinks we would find in the cafe.     In Aistear this month we were learning all about the "Firefighter". Bobby Ellen's Dad from room 2 is a real-life Firefighter. He came to speak to us in the hall about fire safety and how we can keep ourselves and our pets safe during Halloween. He also answered all our interesting questions!
 We're all delighted to be back in school after the summer holidays. We are Senior Infants now and not the youngest children in the school anymore! It is so exciting to have a new girl, Tirzah join our class. We are looking forward to lots of learning and fun this year :)
