Team Brazil made it into the final of the soccer tournament today. Three students were chosen from a hat to be the substitutes from the other teams - Ireland, Portugal and Canada. 

Team Brazil played team France from room 4 Ms Dutton's class. There was great excitement. We had a wonderful day. 

We had a lovely well-being day yesterday in school. We started the day with some yoga and followed with some puzzles and board games. We played with musical instruments with Ms McDermott for the middle part of the day. To finish the day we enjoyed using PE equipment and activities and we even got ice-creams! What a wonderful day. 

We had a wonderful day on our school trip to 'Let's Go' in DCU. 

The children really enjoyed learning about The Titanic over the past week. They did amazing drawings. What fantastic artists we have in our class! Well done Room 5. 

May is the first month of Summer. We decided to draw sunflowers along with writing a little bit about those of us who made our 'First Holy Communion'. We had a lovely few weeks in school and it was a brilliant day. I hope the boys and girls enjoyed the celebrations and festivities with their families.
