We've had a busy but exciting time in Room 1 in recent weeks. We had a wonderful Grandparents Day on Valentines. We celebrated by inviting our Grandparents in to visit our classrooms. There was a prayer service in the hall giving thanks for all that our Grandparents do but also rememebering those who were unable to make the day and those who have died. It was a real highlight for the children to show their Grandparents their classroom.
We had a tasty Pancake Tuesday. We wrote the recipe, "How to make pancakes". We then ate pancakes in the classroom. It was such a treat.
