Here's some of our classmates who had something to share in the halla for Grandparents Day. Maith sibh! Have a look at some of our beautiful portraits of our grandparents. We also wrote some fabulous acrostic poems about our wonderful grandparents. We also gave our grandparents a book mark to remember the occasion.
We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas in Room 11. Santa paid us a visit and we sang a Christmas tune for him. We walked to the cinema where we watched a great movie called 'Arthur Christmas'. We had two Christmas concerts in the school hall and lots of people came to hear our wonderful songs and see us perform. We had a Christmas service in the church where we read prayers and sang Christmas hymns. It was a wonderful time of celebration.
Thank you for sponsoring us to do our Witch Walk. We scared a few of the locals as we walked around the neighbourhood. OOPS! Check out our wonderful costumes. Creative cauldrons, symmetrical spiders and lovely lanterns! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
We were delighted with our new rulers. We really enjoyed using them to learn about symmetry and measure this week. Estimation jar and sorting. We even got to eat the sweets! We had a great time during Maths Week! A big thank you to all of the volunteers for Maths for Fun! Have a look at our wonderful certificates.
We had a wonderful time on our school tour to Newgrange Farm. We held chicks, fed goats, played on the tractors and had great fun in the straw maze. One of the highlights was the tractor-trailer ride around the farm. Can you believe that we nearly left the farmer behind in the field! Thank you to Grace and Fran for helping us on the day. Have a look at some of the pictures.
