We went on our school tour to Dublin Zoo! We had a great day out seeing all of the animals! We were very lucky to have a visit from a pilot and two cabin crew members. They told us all about their job and we had a chance to ask them lots of questions. We were all left dreaming about our next holiday abroad!  Our class had the best attendance in the school for the month of April and as a result we are very lucky to have 'Attendance Ted' visiting our classroom. We had a teddy bears picnic with Ted to celebrate our achievement! We went on a trip to the garden centre as we are learning all about the garden centre in English and Aistear. We saw lots of spring flowers such as daffodils which we were also learning about in science. We had a visit from the Gardaí. They told us all about their job. They also let us try on their hat and vest. The vest was very heavy! We all wore our favourite team's jersey for Jersey day in aid of the charity GOAL.  |
