The children in St Paul's are very active outside school as well as inside it! Check out all of the activities that we do in each class:

Our Active board keeps us up to date on what activities are going on in the school.  We use it to display our photos from various active events that take place during the year and also it was where we put up all of the entries for our active slogan competition. The children were able to come down to view the choices. In the end the winner was:

Lots of our pupils in St Paul's JNS are involved in many sports outside of school. Have a look at some of our successful sportspeople!

We were very lucky today to receive a visit from Deidre Walsh who competed in the Special Olympics playing basketball. Please use the following link and scroll down to read more about her visit.

Our Active School Committee consists of two children from each of the first and second classes. 
They have many responsibilities during the school day. They take the equipment in and out of the yard at break time. They often have to read out notices on the intercom about events happening in the school. They go around the classes collecting information and distributing notices. They assist Ms Fitzpatrick with the cleaning out and organising of the PE equipment in the equipment room. 
Often they organise games for the infant classes in the yard and they remind the teachers about speakers in the yard on Fridays.
