We joined Julia Donaldson and Victoria Sandøy to celebrate trees, nature and new book "The Oak Tree" through crowd-cast. We listened to Julia read her new book and then joined Victoria in an illustrating session where we created lovely oak tree pictures. We learned all about oak trees and were impressed that some trees can live up to 1000 years old!!
We learned all about Pablo Picasso and cubism and created our very own self-portraits! We watched a video of how to draw faces and we created our own self-portraits! We are all very talented artists! They are on display outside of our classroom so everyone can see what we look like before entering :)  |
