Dear Children,
I hope that you are keeping well. I would love to have heard all of your Easter stories this morning but maybe you could write your news, create a comic strip or draw a picture to keep me up to date. Your parents/guardians have my email address and I'd love to hear from you.
I'm sure that you're helping out at home; making your bed, setting the table and listening to the adults in your homes. I hope that you are washing your hands properly and coughing/sneezing into a tissue or your elbow. You're all very sensible so I know that you're doing your best.
We are all feeling a little bit strange at the moment so if you make a mistake, get a bit angry or upset, or just feel a bit confused, remember that it's OK to have those feelings. Talk to someone about your feelings, write about your feelings or draw a picture, bounce a ball, read your favourite book or play with your favourite toy. Minding my plants in my garden, chatting with friends and reading in the sunshine helps me when I'm not feeling like my usual self.
I'm sure that you're all keeping active, doing PE at home and getting out for cycles and walks. I have been making sure to get my 2km walk or cycle every day. Can you figure out how many metres that is? I have been reading lots of books and I'm sure you have too. Maybe you'd like to share a book review or recommendation with me and your classmates.
I miss you all and I look forward to reading your emails over the next few days.
Ms Maguire
