Split the Pot
Our dedicated Parents' Association (PA) is always thinking of new ways to raise funds for the school for the benefit of all pupils attending St Paul's. To this end, the Parents' Association launched a new initiative this year called Split the Pot. Envelopes are distributed in all the classes and a voluntary donation of two euro is collected each Thursday morning. Half of what is collected is kept by the Parents' Association and the other half is raffled off, with one winner from the Infant classes and one winner from the First & Second classes.
We have had lots of winners so far and the children really enjoy finding out who the lucky winners are! We would like to sincerely thank the PA for organising this. We also deeply appreciate the continued generous support from parents and the community.
Events
The PA are very active and spend a lot of time creating and running various events and activities in the school, including a Spooky Halloween Cave, Santa's Christmas Workshop, and an Easter Treasure Hunt and table quiz. Obviously these events take time, commitment, and of course money, to run successfully, and we are very grateful to have such a dedicated PA. Another event that the PA run include a super Cinema Club that is usually held once a term and is very popular with the children.
Join in
If anyone would like to join the PA they always welcome new members and meet every Thursday morning in Room 15 in the school.
